Having benefited from yoga and holistic therapy within her own life, Tamzen is passionate about sharing these tools with others and likes the fact that with yoga at home, as students we can practice in our own space and create an environment to support our practice. Tamzen truly believes that yoga is for everyone of every age, size and fitness ability. It helps us navigate a world in flux and cultivate a practice of profoundly positive self-transformation. Yoga is also about forging a community that breathes together, evolves together and grows together.

Background

Tamzen’s yoga journey started in 2001 in Cape Town, South Africa. She trained as a ballet dancer at a young age and has always loved expressing herself through the movement of the body. In 2010 she completed her 200 hours yoga teacher training and has been teaching in London since 2015 – in studio, corporate environments and private classes. She studied a three-year diploma in Motion Picture Production Design and likes to thread her experience from this into her classes, too.

200 hours YTT in with Yoga Alliance, a school-based on the Iyengar principles at Shades of Yoga in Durban, South Africa (2010)

14-day course with Sivananda Yoga School in Kerala (2008)

The Piloga package is a five part series of one hour classes that combine 30 minutes of Pilates with 30 minutes of Yoga infused together that work through the Elements of Nature: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Tamzen Grove and her partner Dionne will guide you through the exercises to help you feel more balanced and grounded, healthier and happier.
