Sarah loves the practices she teaches because they show her how to love the space she is in and how the body is the vehicle to the spirit. She teaches group and one to one classes online and in-person. She has studied Sivananda yoga, completed courses on assisting and adjusting, yoga for psychosomatic disorders, yoga for back pain and yogic nutrition. She is passionate about yoga and movement for rehabilitation and continues to update her knowledge and understanding through her own practice and reading of the ancient texts and modern analysis of them.

Background

I have been a movement enthusiast my whole life. I did attend Yoga sessions as an infant but I was too young to appreciate it then. My own journey started with dance and gymnastics and then moved my attention to martial arts. At this point my practice became not purely physical but I understood better how the body is the vehicle to the spirit. After she experienced a motorbike accident and as a trained Personal Trainer, I embarked on the journey of rehabilitation and re-discovered Yoga. I travelled to India to study Yoga and met my husband there. We returned to the UK to teach Yoga together here.

Now that our Yoga classes are online we realise the necessity to make sure you maintain awareness during your practice and keep your self safe from injury.

If you have any new or existing physical conditions please make sure you let the teacher know at
the beginning of the class. You can do this verbally or by email (in which case the email needs to
arrive at least 3 hours before the start of the class).

These online yoga classes and videos, documents and other associated content (hereinafter

Sara has been a movement enthusiast her whole life. She initially taught martial arts with Tang Long Kung Fu Schoo and qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2015, working with Matt Roberts, where she learnt about rehabilitation alongside physiotherapists. After a motorbike accident, she discovered yoga and travelled to Kerala and Rishikesh in India to complete teacher training, where she met her husband and fellow Yoga Mapp teacher Akhil Gopinath.
