Silence: The Power of Quiet in a World Full of Noise, Thich Nhat Hanh

Cristina visited Mozambique in 2019 and fell in love with the country. She spends her time between Maputo and Lisbon in Portugal, her home city. Teaching online is the perfect way for her to continue to teach during COVID-19. She loves the ease and the opportunity to teach people located in different places. To improve the experience, she’s getting better equipment and trying to get a place with a prettier background – watch this space! 🙂

Background

Cristina started practicing yoga 16 years ago, when her asthma started to worsen, becoming dependent on cortisone treatments, inhalers and antibiotics. A friend introduced her to yoga and it was here that she learned to breathe again. Cristina went to India at the beginning of 2020 to complete Yoga Teacher Training and deepen her practice and has since fallen in love with teaching. When she finishes a class, Cristina feels light and at peace, and it’s this feeling that she loves to share with her students. When you leave Cristina’s class, it’ll be as if you’ve left behind some weight from your own shoulders, too.
